Welcome back to the YERVOY Melanoma eLearning program. When you engage with healthcare professionals, they will expect you to be knowledgeable about all aspects of metastatic melanoma. In this module, we’ll discuss basic cell biology, how DNA mutations in specific genes contribute to melanoma, and how these mutations may serve as biomarkers. We’ll also cover the signs and symptoms of metatstatic melanoma, as well as prognostic factors. Therapeutic options for metastatic melanoma will be addressed in the second half of this module.
